The two good windows: spring and fall
Mid-April through early June and mid-September through late October are the reliable exterior windows across most of Alabama. Daytime temperatures sit in the manufacturer's range, overnight lows stay above the dew-point risk, and humidity is manageable.
Those same windows are when the best crews are booked solid. If you want a specific painter in the spring window, call in February or March. Fall books up by August.
Summer: possible, but the rules tighten
July and August are not automatically off the table, but surface temperature matters more than air temperature.
