Insurance is. Ask for a certificate of insurance emailed by the agent, showing general liability and workers' compensation, with your name on it as certificate holder. Confirm the business is registered with the Georgia Secretary of State under the same name that appears on the contract. If any part of the crew is subcontracted, ask whose policy covers them.
Rot and caulk come before color in Atlanta
